Stellar Calendar Event Manager Demo

 

::. Event Manager

 

The Event Manager is a browser based application and is the central location where your events can be added, edited and removed from the calendar.

 

Access the Event Manager now!

Username: demo

Password: demo

 

Note: The list of events below the calendars does NOT show special formatting or links. This is to compact the size of the list. Please view integrated calendar to see the actual layout.

 

::. Adding Events

 

Once logged in to the Events Manager, you will see the Home page which should look similar to the image below:

Adding Events:

 

To add an event, click the Add Event button located in the upper-right of the page.

You can also click on a date (that doesn't already have an event) to add a new event for that particular date.

This will open the Add Event page which should look similar to the image below.

There are several options on the Add Event page:

 

Short Description:
A Short Description is required (otherwise referred to as the title).

 

Category:
Select a main category for the event. Optionally, there may be other categories to choose from.

 

Details:
Enter the details of the event. This is generally a long description and can include HTML such as images, font colors and sizes, links and more.

 

Set Time:
If the event has a specific time, it can be selected by clicking the Set Time button. A time of NA will result in no time information being saved.

 

Occurs:
Select how the event will occur. Once will only happen one time. Repeating will occur multiple times on a specific date or dates. Floating/Repeating can occur multiple time and are based on the week and day (example: third Thursday or first Monday).

 

Date Selection:
Select the start date and end date for the event. This section will change the available options according to the Occurs selection.

 

Save Event:
When finished entering the event data, click Save Event to commit the event to the database, or click Cancel to return to the Home page.

 

Add more events:
If this option is checked, once the event has been saved, a new Add Event screen will be presented so that events can be continuously added. Uncheck this box before saving the last event or click the Cancel button to return to the Home page.

 

::. Editing Events

 

Once logged in the Events Manager, you will see the Home page which should look similar to the image below:

Editing Events:

 

To edit an event, click the Edit Event link when hovering over the event, or click the edit icon in the event list below the calendars.

This will open the Edit Event page which should look similar to the image below.

Delete Event:
To completely delete the event and any occurrence of the event, click the Delete Event button.

 

Delete Single Occurance:
For repeating events, select Delete Single Occurrence to remove the single instance of the event which was chosen to edit.
