As stated in Website Magazine, “a 2010 study by comScore suggests that almost 46 million mobile phone users have smartphones – almost 20 percent of the market share of total mobile user.” And that grows each day. Smartphones are defined as a cell phone that connects to your social media and email networks as well as the Internet. Can you see why this is a hot topic? A New Year is all about Refreshing!
Stellar Blue has written articles in past Get Stellar editions addressing the importance of website redesigns. As important as it is to give your website a good overhaul every 3-5 years, it’s also a great alternative to give your website a refreshed appearance. Enhancing your header image and even changing some font styles or colors can go a long way.

Guident didn’t want to change their main navigation or the overall layout of the website; however, while updating their other visual marketing materials, they knew they had to also adjust their website.

Some indicators that your website could use a refresh are as follows:
• Color scheme is outdated
• Website is no longer uniform with other marketing materials
• Changed or updated your logo and website no longer matches
• Images in the header are of past or former employees, services, products or associates

If you are questioning whether your website needs a complete redesign, try to answer the following:
• When was the website first built?
• Is it meeting the needs of our viewers?
• Does the website have proper balance? (Even distribution of visual weight i.e. colors, pictures, bold font, etc.)
• Does the website have a clear focal point?
• Does the website have consistent rhythm? (Repeating elements that help a viewer understand your layout)

The Referral Partner Program is directly related to our 10 percent policy. The policy is based off word of mouth in which stellar service will continue to give back.
